Draftex KnifeGuard is a simply designed must have safety implementation for use on steel rules in protecting your fingers when cutting with a sharp blade/knife.

PROTECT YOUR FINGERS WHEN USING A SHARP BLADED KNIFE AND A STEEL RULE
The KnifeGuard is an Orange Coloured Acrylic Moulding that clips directly onto a Steel Rule using 2 Rare Earth Magnets to hold it in place.
It makes it safer to cut materials when using a sharp bladed knife or scalpel and a steel rule as a straight edge.
SIMPLY CLICK OFF THE RULE TO MEASURE & CLICK ON TO CUT (THE MAGNETS DO THE WORK) KnifeGuard ATTACHES IN SECONDS
Rare Earth Magnets are significantly stronger than other types of Magnets. The higher the content of Iron in the Steel Rule the stronger the magnetic hold. The Magnets will not work on Aluminium OR Plastic Rules.
Ideally Steel Rules of 30cm or more in length work best with the KnifeGuard as some shorter ones do not have the width to pick up the magnets.
