Staedtler Pencil Sharpeners are made from lightweight alloy with carbon steel blades that maintain their edge. The single hole 510 10 model is designed to accept standard sized woodcase pencils. The double hole 510 20 has a larger aperture that suits thicker bodied colour and lead pencils. The tapered body and grooved sides of these sharpeners fit well in the fingers making it a pleasure to put a new point on your pencil. The smaller holes for pencils up to 8.2mm are machined to a 23° angle which is optimal for drawing smooth clean lines while the larger 10.2mm aperture for coloured pencils is angled at 30° for a point that will draw softer broader lines.
